Data Deletion Policy

What We Delete

• Account record (username and authentication credentials).
• Provided email address (if present).
• Google login link (if present) and any stored Google identifiers.
• Uploaded profile picture files (we will remove stored uploads for your account).
• Account-specific settings.

What May Be Retained

• Anonymous gameplay history used for analytics or fraud prevention (retained in anonymized form).
• Short-term security logs to investigate abuse (time-limited).
• Leaderboard entries may remain with username-only unless explicitly removed.

Administrative Account Removal

In certain cases, MyWord may remove or disable accounts as part of enforcement of our Terms of Service, safety measures, or legal obligations. Such actions may occur without a user-initiated deletion request.

How to Request Deletion

Email support@mywordgame.com with:

1. Your username
2. Your account email (if any)
3. A statement that you request full deletion of your MyWord account and associated personal data

Processing Time

We will process deletion requests within 30 days in most cases. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

Google Login Users

If you used Google sign-in, you may also remove MyWord from your Google account: Google Account → Security → Third-party apps → Remove access.
