This Friday, we are looking back at a wild week of player behavior, highlighting some absolutely mind-blowing community milestones, and breaking down the current competitive meta.

1. The 50-Minute Marathon Sessions
We peeked at the global player metrics this week, and we had to rub our eyes to make sure we weren't hallucinating: the average session duration for active players is hovering at just over 50 minutes.
Let that sink in for a second.
In a world where most mobile and browser games struggle to keep someone’s attention for more than three minutes, you guys are locking in for nearly an hour at a time. It turns out that when you combine frictionless browser play with the sheer adrenaline of live, screen-peeking grid tracking, "just one more game" quickly turns into a full-blown competitive saga.
2. Day One of Streaks: The 10-Win Club
Earlier this week, we officially rolled out Win Streaks alongside a seamless, one-click sharing feature. We expected players to slowly build up their numbers over a few days.
Instead, within 24 hours of the update going live, multiple players had already shattered the double-digit barrier, boasting consecutive win streaks of 10+ matches in live head-to-head duels.
Reaching a 10-win streak in a turn-based game is tough. Doing it in a live, real-time race where you have to manage the high-stakes 5/6/7-letter points economy under ticking timers is legendary. If you are sitting on a massive streak right now, consider this your warning: the community is actively hunting for your crown.
3. A Truly Global Battleground
The MyWord™ matchmaking lobbies have officially gone international. This week alone, we watched live duels spark up between players across the globe, with heavy traffic holding strong in:

4. Bob Remains Unbothered
While players have been sweating over their keyboards, trying to protect their 12-game win streaks and setting 50-minute playtime records, our resident mascot, Bob, has maintained his signature level of absolute detachment.
Bob—our disembodied yellow cartoon head—spent the week doing exactly what he does best: playing completely randomized background videos of himself doing goofy stunts on the sidebar. He doesn't know what a 7-letter word is, and he doesn't care about your leaderboard position, but he is incredibly proud of everyone’s competitive spirit.
